In the summer of 2015, Clover was found homeless in the Annapolis Royal area.
Clover was around six months old when she was discovered in the Annapolis Royal area in the summer of 2015. Some attentive folks who knew of North Mountain Animal Sanctuary contacted us and brought her to us. Since her arrival, she has found good company with her new rescue family. She is a domestic rabbit, so it is likely that she either escaped from an improperly secured pen or she was abandoned by her caretakers, who were no longer willing or able to care for her. While Clover’s story has a happy ending, domestic rabbits that are abandoned easily fall victim to predators or birds of prey, starve or freeze to death, or are hit by vehicles.
